Week 1 - Breathwork For Performance Fundamentals
Module 1 of The PeakAir Program is all about onboarding and getting you up to speed with the basics of Breathwork.In Module 1, you will gain a deep understanding of all of the fundamentals of breathwork for performance and functional breathing.What you will learnβ¦β’ The process behind breathwork and why it is such a powerful tool for maximising performance on and off the field.β’ Understand the benefits of nasal breathing, breath awareness and optimal breathing.β’ Measuring your BOLT score and explaining it's significance.β’ You will take home 2x BreathingByEd Breathwork Session's to build your breath awareness and BOLT score before Module 2.
Week 2 - Off The Field
As your breathing is a function, you can control it.If you can control it, you can influence it.If you can influence it, this means that you can train it.And if you can train it, you can improve it.In this module, you will learn:β’ How to implement optimal breathing both on and off the field to significantly reduce stress and anxiety, maximise sleep and enhance performance.β’ The biochemistry behind breathing to increase our BOLT score using breath holds to reduce breathlessness during training and increase our stamina.β’ The biomechanics behind breathing to strengthen our diaphragm to increase the efficiency of our breathing and reduce fatigue.β’ My key framework to building a sustainable breathwork habit into your daily life.You will take home two BreathingByEd Breathwork Session's focused on strengthening your diaphragm and increasing your CO2 tolerance to improve your BOLT score.
Week 3 - On The Field

What is the weekly commitment?
The weekly time commitment is 1x 60-minute live group video call along with the weekly assignments which are designed to help you better understand and apply the exercises covered in the sessions.
What time of day are the weekly sessions?
The live sessions of my PeakAir program will begin on Wednesday, October 23rd. The following two live sessions will take place weekly on Wednesdays (30th October and 6th November) with call times UK afternoon/ evening time (exact time TBC).
What if I can't attend the sessions live?
All live sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand replay, so you can watch them at your convenience.
